Michael Greicius, MD, MPH, is an associate professor of neurology and, by courtesy, of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Stanford School of Medicine. He is also a faculty affiliate of the Center on Longevity. BeWell spoke with Dr. Greicius about Alzheimer’s disease — more commonly diagnosed in women than in men — to learn more about the causes, onset, progression and treatment of this currently incurable neurological disease.
