Lily Sarafan is President and Chief Operating Officer of Home Care Assistance, a venture-backed pioneer in the rapidly expanding senior care market with a mission to change the way the world ages. Under her leadership, Home Care Assistance has grown from startup to industry champion, expanding throughout the United States, Canada and Australia with more than 100 storefronts and 5000 employees. Home Care Assistance has received numerous accolades for innovation and was coined “the home care company with a Silicon Valley soul” by Fox Business. Lily is a passionate entrepreneur with deep experience in developing and bringing innovative consumer services to market, merging technology with human capital, and scaling operations. She leverages her expertise as a board member and advisor to several enterprising business and social ventures. Lily is a frequent speaker at events across diverse audiences including American Society on Aging and Women’s Leadership Forum. The co-author of an award-winning book series on healthy longevity, Lily is also the recipient of numerous accolades including the Silicon Valley 40 under 40 Award. She has been featured by more than 100 media outlets including Forbes, Entrepreneur, ABC and the covers of President&CEO and Smart Business. Lily holds an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering and B.S. in Science Technology and Society from Stanford University, where she currently serves on the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education Cabinet.
